Uniform Coordinator

Overall coordinator enlists volunteers to oversee each specific uniform category:

	marching
	concert
	drumline

Overall Coordinator maintains and updates the "Uniform Manual" which includes step-by-step procedures for each job function.

Duties include the following:

1. Supporting the directors' programs and schedules

2. Organizing fitting sessions--directing the volunteers and students throughout the sessions.

3. Scheduling dry cleaning pick-up/delivery of marching and concert uniforms.

4. Preparing for uniform distribution at the beginning of the season and collection at the end of the season; overseeing the work of the volunteers who help.

5. Providing adequate uniform volunteer coverage for all games, competitions, and performances.

6. Ordering uniforms and accessories as needed.

7. Maintaining uniform inventory.

8. Updating uniform manual as needed.

9. Making presentation at first Band Parents' Meeting of year.

10. Preparing information sheet to be inserted in MMC take-home packet.

11. Informing parents and students as to proper uniform care/maintenance.

12. Assisting directors on assigned picture days.

13. Supervising parent volunteers who assist with all of the tasks listed above.

14. Remaining calm under pressure.
