Marching Band Banquet Coordinator

MARCHING BAND BANQUET

You volunteered to help to help with the marching band banquet.  The most important thing is that we find a replacement for me for next year & the years to come.  I've done the leg work.  Hired the CHS Culinary Art students to provide the dinner.  He is happy to do it for $5.25 per person as long as the banquet isn't the same week as the school break.  Keith fills out the school forms.  We need a podium & microphone.  I designed the flyer.  [Well actually this year my alumnae decided to spice it up as a good bye gift.  Next year just change the dates And the pictures.  I copied the pictures off the website.]  I am collecting the money from the brown box.  We have all the decorations from last year.

Have I recruited anyone yet????????

Now comes the hard part.  The set up & clean up.  The jobs I need help with.  First of all we have the cafeteria starting at 4:30.

We need to start the coffee & buy it [cups, sugar, cream ...]; revelcro the helmets; put out candy in bowls on each table & buy it; put up the decorations & bring the tape;  put out the table cloths [ we have 15 white & 15 purple] & buy a few more; order get & put out helium balloons; and clean up [But not until we are completely done!! I will tell you when.  Not before that!!].

So you can see this is very simple little job!! for next year!!

And oh yes there is always the "oh by the way list" probably like putting extra cans of soda in trash cans of ice.
