Announcements
The Tri-M Music Honor Society is the international music honor society
that motivates and recognizes musical achievement for students in secondary
schools.
 | Provides recognition and rewards for student achievement and
service |
 | Strengthens the school's music program |
 | Builds awareness of the importance of music in our school and
community |
 | Encourages positive interaction between instrumental and vocal
students and faculty |
 | Motivates and challenges students to achieve on a higher level |
Membership Requirements
Members are selected based on scholastic and musical achievement, leadership
potential, as well as community service involvement.
To qualify, an applicant must:
- Be enrolled in a performing music class at Chantilly
High School (guitar lab, piano lab, and/or music theory students are not
eligible unless they are also enrolled in a band, orchestra, or choral
course)
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
- Complete a survey highlighting your community service and
participation in school-related events, earning a minimum of 10 service
hours per year (15 for graduating students).
